A group of clients in the Technology sector: Cisco, Sungard Availability Services and Illumiti, sponsored this content and series.


Vellum Marketing was asked to develop and execute a content marketing strategy around Cloud ERP software. The main objectives included generating awareness for cloud ERP and developing new leads through a number of channels. Also important was the objective to demonstrate leadership in working together to help clients leverage the benefits of Cloud ERP.


Vellum Marketing worked closely with our clients to develop a marketing strategy including:

  • Identifying criteria for the survey companies in Mining, Manufacturing and Energy sectors
  • Conducting the research and analysis based on feedback from executives on the current and future state of cloud adoption and benefits and challenges of ERP
  • Creating thought leadership content for the overall report and three sector reports
  • Recommending and assisting with the execution of a press release, social media and promotional strategy

The content is being promoted online via the client(s) websites, a co-branded microsite erp-decisions.com and through other channels including a social media strategy with LinkedIn advertising, blog posts, trade shows and speaking opportunities.


The reports generated significant social media traffic and has already resulted a number of key leads. The success of the program is now being monitored and tracked.
